Hand-grown, carved and wood burned gourd bowl decorated with an original wood burn design of a blue whale emerging from the ocean and the sun at the horizon.

This is a large sized gourd, approximately 9” in diameter. She is very round, sturdy and has a nice flat bottom.

I really feel like the spirit of the whale and the ocean collaborated with me to come into art in this form, and that is present within this gourd.

This gourd can be used for ritual purposes as well as everyday uses. She is finished with organic beeswax that is food safe.
