Join in this circle of women as we turn to face the East direction in this season of new beginnings, new growth and breathing life into dreams. As the seasons turn on the tail of the full moon, we walk together listening to the land and our own wisdom. Through journeying, poetry, story and just being women together, we’ll return to what’s important for us. We’ll walk, we’ll drum, we’ll listen. We’ll see and be seen. We’ll dance our own dance. We’ll remember.
The Medicine Wheel is an ancient way people from all different walks of life have mapped out time, seasons and phases of growth. It is a map of the four directions, each of which have special qualities. Each direction is associated with a color, a rhythm, a season, a time of day, a phase of a person’s life. Each are kept by different plant and animal allies. Each have messages for us and lessons to teach.
As we move through this last bit of winter’s powerful truth, we prepare to turn to face the East direction—a direction of new growth, insights, and of breathing life into dreams.
With the spring equinox next week and a full supermoon on the same day, this is a potent time for truly letting go what is ready to dissolve to the Earth and for planting seeds of the new that is wanting to be birthed. This can be a really good week to ground it, make it real, and make it happen. And on Saturday, March 23rd from 10am-2pm, we will get together as a circle of women to do just that.
